Andrea Greschner

Hello!  My name is Andrea Greschner, and the little fuzzball waving at you from my shoulder is Ducki.  I was raised in good old New Brunswick, but did my undergrad at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.

During the day, I'm a PhD student working my way towards a degree.  My focus is on using small molecules to template the assembly of DNA into higher-order helices.  By using many-faced bases I hope to be able to make and characterize a variety of new DNA polymers.

When school is done, I come home to my parrot, who owns me.  He has me well trained to rub him and feed him on cue, and he barely spends any time in the gargantuan cage I bought him.  So I spend most of my non-academic hours as a glorified tree for the most beautiful bird ever!

If you have any questions (about chemistry - or birds, I'm flexible) please feel free to contact me at andrea.greschner@mail.mcgill.ca.  I love to answer questions!
