Feli Rakotondradany

I'm Felaniaina Rakotondradany but you can just call me Feli. I was born in Madagascar where I grew up and lived until junior high school. I moved to France for senior high school and completed my chemical engineering degree at the National Institute for Applied Sciences of Rouen (INSA) in 1997. During my undergraduate studies, I was lucky enough to intern as a quality controller for Snecma, a major aerospace group, then as a research assistant at the Institute of Chemistry of the Natural Substances, a CNRS laboratory. Thanks to an exchange program between France and Quebec, I finished my engineering degree at McGill where I completed my Honours project under the supervision of Dr. M.A.Whitehead. Since September 1998, I have been pursuing my Ph.D. at McGill with Drs. Sleiman and Whitehead. My research project, which combines experimental and theoretical work, relates to the supramolecular chemistry of photosensitive compounds.
